Exhibition

On November 3rd, I will be hosting an exhibition of portraits in Washington, DC.

This body of work reflects on the experience of the black woman and how we construct our beauty. The portraits are a collaborative effort between myself and the sitter to which exist as a counterpoint created by the male gaze. Employing commercial photographic skills allows me to reclaim the objectification of brown women. Using the medium of photography, we are redefining our beauty.

This event is in collaboration with BlcknLit.
