Take a trip through LA with me. The gallery below is full of images that i've collected over time since arriving in LA 3 months ago. Some taken with my old phone, and some with my new.
I love to travel. It's probably the only thing other than photography that I can't live without. I get antsy and begin unconsiously to find ways to move about and get out of my current location. Its very natural for me to move around no matter the consequences or transportation. Ever since the middle of 8th grade, 2005, I've been on the move and haven't really stopped. I plan on LA being a place where I plant some roots or stay the longest but I know that I will find a way to move within this giant state of California. For now i've been exploring the piece of Southern California that is available to me.
(Disclaimer: Quality change in photos due to change of medium.)
Every area feels like a different country. I know nothing of such drastic changes within 10 miles of the next. Everywhere in VA is the same, the houses just seem to get farther apart from each other but it still has is reoccurrences, trees, green grass, leaves, mailbox, next house, etc. In LA there are so many small neighborhoods, small countries, new adventures with extremes differences from the last.
Being a nomad has been good to me. I've had my share of trials and tribulations but also unbelievable highs. I'm chasing a high every time I explore a new place. So far Malibu is one of my favorite places here in LA. (See Pho. 1, 2, & 3 above)
