Photo Diary: New Orleans

Thick humidity, creaky aged plank wood floors, willow trees, and a small town feel with big taste and character. New Orleans held a mysteriousness about it. Although the purpose of the trip was a refresher, to my creativity & scenery, it was also about learning more about myself and disconnecting. The city didn't have the typical "southern" feel, it felt heavier in culture than any other it's neighboring states. The people I encountered from the airport to the restaurants, were beautiful. There is something about that N'awls sing songy twang that's comforting. Fair warning though, if you came for the food porn, I don't have any.

prior to this trip, I was on an "unofficial" 3 week photography tour. 7 planes, 5 cities ( NY twice ) I was about over flying at this point. I'm actually scared of flying, any small bump or sway out of the norm gets my heart racing and the prayers flowing.
